My name is Nadia Awan and I am a 24 year old IT Trainer who loves to read and write a variety of poetry.

At the age of 10 I wrote my first poem at school. Much to my surprise my mum loved the poem and encouraged me to read it to my Great Aunt who always took an interest in my education. From that moment on, my aunt, who obviously felt I had a flare for the written word encouraged me to continue to write poems. She always took the time to read any new poems I had written and delighted in giving me her feedback on each one. Back then she saw something special in me and she always encouraged me to be the best that I can be and for that Great Aunt I will always be eternally grateful.

I grew a passon for all forms of literature from that day onwards and still to this day I have great passion for my writing. Writing poetry has helped me to deal with many situations and emotions throughout the years. I only hope that you enjoy reading my poetry as much as I enjoy writing it.
